Recommend the following...

La Paz Waterfalls Gardens
Vara Blanca, Costa Rica
Telephone: (506) 225 0643
Fax: (506) 225 1082

Went there the other day, you can have lunch there or even get a room to spend the night if you wish. Lunch is about 4000 colones, entrance to the park is about 4000 colones. You walk about 4 kilometers inside, looking at a big butterfly-arium (LOL), a hummingbird garden, some dull looking orchids and 5 waterfalls... Overall its a very nice experience and is really worth it.

Or you can go to Banco Elco, and try to find out why they stole your money.

beatpete, its up in the mountains above heredia, from santa barbara, going straight up the mountain... or if you go to alajuela, just look for the "volcano" road signs and somewhere along the line turn right *theres a map on their webpage*

newbie, that i know of, no you cant swim, its probably pretty dangerous to go in the water but you're welcome to try and tell us all about it

sure thing Pete.

Newbie, the water is very cold, and yes you should take a camera as some of those waterfalls are truly amazing. If you do, share the pics and if the police picks you up for swimming, by all means share those also.
